The legal minimum depth of the main grooves of a car, van and trailers up to 3500kg in weight is 1.6mm in a continuous band around the central three quarters of the tyre.
While this is the legal minimum, for you safety Billericay Tyres recommends, especially during winter months that tyres be replaced when the tread depth reaches 2mm.
